A Tip of the Hat to: Billy Jealousy

|

Esquire magazine is calling attention to what Dallas’ Dapper Dans already knew: Few put a man’s best face forward like locally based company Billy Jealousy. Particularly, Billy’s Hydroplane Shave Cream, which the national men’s magazine recently named the “best shaving cream” in its 2007 Grooming Awards. Pat Parsi, who founded the high-end line of men’s hair care, skin, and shaving products in 2004, is over the moon about the acknowledgement. “I received the [Esquire] October issue at home and quickly raced through it to see if we had won,” he recalls. “I landed on page 114, and there it was. Later that evening, I was still so fired up at a charity event that I placed a $2,000 bid for a tennis lesson with Venus Williams and Pete Sampras.” They would have had a lot to talk about, had Parsi not been outbid. Sampras has quite the 5 o’clock shadow.
