Monday night, the 23rd season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars premieres. I’ve never really watched it, but I added it to my TiVo several days ago, because former Texas governor Rick Perry will be one of the competitors. Will he win? No. Will he make a deep run? I don’t want to say no, but no. Will he make it to a second week? I’m not sure how the show works, exactly, but I assume someone gets eliminated every week, and if that’s the case, and, again, I think it is, then no. Will I keep watching once he’s eliminated? Probably not. How many questions can I ask myself in one sitting? My record is 47. Have I made that joke before? Probably. Have I made that joke before? Look, I don’t come to your office and heckle you.

ANYWAY, all I need is one episode. That’s enough to update my “Rick Perry dancing” file. And, as you can see from the photo included here, this thing has already paid for itself.
