CheapCaribbean.com has named a new president, Steve Dumaine, who brings more than 15 years of experience in the travel and tourism industries from leadership positions at Travelocity, Expedia, Hotels.com, and Sabre Holdings. Dumaine succeeds Flo Lugli, who served as the company’s interim president since mid-March. Prior to joining CheapCaribbean.com, Dumaine served as the chief strategy, technology, and operations officer at Travelocity.

  • Cullen/Frost Bankers Inc. elected former WNB CEO Jack Wood to its board of directors after recently acquiring WNB’s parent company, WNB Bancshares Inc., and converting all branches in Midland and Odessa to Frost banks. Wood, along with his father and brother, had a controlling interest in WNB since 1985 and saw the growth of that bank from $40 million in assets to $1.8 billion when the merger with Cullen/Frost was completed. Wood directed both credit and operations of the bank and will bring skills from his experiences with WNB to his board position with Frost. Wood also co-owns Permian Enterprise Inc., a pipe coating business.
