Irving-based Michaels Companies Inc. Reports Possible Credit Card Breach

Irving-based Michaels Companies Inc., America’s largest arts and crafts retailer, has announced that it is investigating a possible security breach on its payment card network, according to a report from Reuters.

The retailer has also advised customers to check their credit card statements for fraudulent activity. If proven legitimate, this will be Michaels’ second known data breach since 2011.
