Dallas Gets Dane Cook on the Oddball Comedy Tour

The Oddball Comedy Festival, the gargantuan annual stand-up tour that’s brought quite a few very funny people to town in recent years, rolls back into Gexa Energy Pavilion on Sept. 23.

The still-popular and occasionally villainous Dane Cook headlines with Sebastian Maniscalco. We can’t help but feel that’s a bit of a step down from past years, when Louis C.K., Amy Schumer, and Aziz Ansari topped the festival bill, but the supporting lineup —  Ali Wong, Tom Segura, Iliza Shlesinger, Bobby Lee, Jermaine Fowler, Big Jay Oakerson, and Jeff Ross — is a little more encouraging.

Ticket presale starts Friday.
