Was That the Best Time of Year to Go? I believe so. It wasn’t overly crowded, certainly wasn’t too hot or too cold!
Why I Went There: It was our honeymoon! It looked secluded and beautiful, so we knew it was the perfect fit.

We Stayed Here: Rosewood Mayakoba. It was amazing! They took us to our room in a water taxi!
You Won’t Want to Miss: Mayan ruins of Tulum, Katunchi cave swimming, dinner one night in Playa del Carmen, snorkeling on the reef, dinner one night at Saffron on the Banyan Tree Property and All You Can Eat Taco night at Punta Bonita on the Rosewood Mayakoba property.
Eat Here: Saffron, Punta Bonita, Cenacolo.
Play Here: In the ocean. It’s warm, but refreshing, clear and blue and so relaxing!
If I Went Again: More sunscreen but ultimately no regrets when you’re on vacation!
How Did You Get There From Dallas? Direct to Cancun. The hotel picked us up from the airport and it was about a 45 minute drive to the property.
