Catch These New Fitness Concepts While You Can

Dallas’ upcoming studios are all about the pop-up right now.

Rachel Pierce and Whitney Stern of Shine Hot Pilates

Before these fresh new concepts settle into their permanent spots, they’re going the pop-up route to perfect their brand and build community. Here’s where to catch the first taste of your future fitness addiction.

Shine Hot Pilates | September 3

Whitney Stern and Rachel Pierce, two friends and instructors with loyal followings, visited Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas to study the latest fitness trends and create their dream space. The result, Shine Hot Pilates, is a reformer-free studio in The Hill Shopping Center that takes a cue from celeb-loved Tracy Anderson. Catch a taste of the rhythm-based, heated sculpting next Tuesday (September 3) at 10:30am. (Click here to sign up.)

Charles Givens can’t literally bring Aspen to Dallas, but he is trying to harness the après ski culture and downhill workout with PowderHeart, a circuit class combining strength building and the SkiErg machine. Their permanent location, which will include a community-focused common area with coffee and kombucha, should be announced later this year, but you can catch a class at their Lakewood pop-up when they return for at least two months this September.

Caulfield’s Dance Fitness | September 25

Though she’s dangerously close to opening her Casa Linda Plaza studio, Cristin Caulfield (aka the perfect person to bring dance cardio to Dallas) is planning more pop-ups. Next up: a visit to Outdoor Voice’s NorthPark store on September 25.

*PSA: Pre-sale class packs are available for Caulfield’s Dance Fitness now, and are 25 percent off with the code “LETSDANCE” through September 9.
