Southlake, Texas takes great pride in upholding uncommonly high standards of public safety and cleanliness. It’s no surprise that the community is home to Southlake Safe, a partnership with local businesses to promote health and safety in the era of COVID-19.

Southlake is an inherently social city. With 260-plus retail venues and over 130 restaurants, they’re a well-known destination for weekend shopping and dining in the DFW area. And they’re incredibly conscientious about the need to provide a healthy, clean, safe environment for both guests and residents as everyone works to flatten the curve.

That’s why they’ve launched Southlake Safe, a public health initiative in partnership with local businesses to promote the highest standards of health and safety in these common spaces—so that everyone can shop, eat, and socialize with confidence while protecting the community’s most vulnerable residents.

Here’s how it works:

Southlake business owners can sign the Southlake Safe Pledge, a voluntary, opt-in agreement that demonstrates a commitment to protecting the community by following recommended health and safety guidelines. Read more about these guidelines here.

Each business that signs on will receive a Southlake Safe Pledge kit, which includes PPE essentials like face masks, a digital thermometer, hand sanitizer, and a Southlake Safe decal to display on their storefront. All businesses that commit to the pledge are featured in a Southlake Safe business directory at SouthlakeSafe.com.

And the rest of us can shop, dine, and unwind at Southlake Safe partner establishments with the peace of mind knowing that they’ve gone the extra mile to provide a safe, clean environment.
