Mark Molthan has been putting his clients in Platinum homes since 1999, and with that, has gotten to know some of the neatest families in North Texas. And while every client is memorable, some of the shining stars that Mark has come across during his time building these homes are the kids (remember Lana?). What better way to showcase a new house than the little ones that help make it a home?
Mark recently caught up with two of his favorites (that just so happen to be sisters) that he considers to be some of the coolest kids on the block.

Girls, what are your favorite rooms in your house?
We would have to say it’s a tie between the downstairs basement dance room and the upstairs bunk bed room. Both are the perfect places to hang out when we have our friends over. Also our mom never has to tell us to keep it down because all of our giggles are contained to one place.
Tell us more about this bunk bed room. What does a typical Friday night look like at your house?
A typical sleepover usually has six of our closest friends. We double up on the full beds on the bottom and let the brave ones sleep solo up top. We love to pop popcorn, watch a movie or the Food Network’s Cake Wars, and see who can stay up the longest without falling asleep.
Cameron, we know you love dancing. What are your favorites songs to dance to these days?
Cold Water by Justin Beiber. My sister Allison loves anything by Taylor Swift.
Allison is the jokester of the family, yes? What is your knock knock joke of choice?
Knock knock. (Who’s there?) Lettuce. (lettuce who?) Let us in! It’s cold out here!
Tell us about your pup. She’s super cute!
Dylan is a Black Russian Terrier. Her breed is known as a “black shadow.” She follows our mom around the house wherever she goes but does like to play outside with us too. We must admit—she is spoiled rotten!
Cameron, we can tell by your picture in the elevator that you are a fashionista. Any advice for picking out the perfect outfit??
Why yes. It needs to be a glamorous dress that hits right at the knee, and you should definitely accessorize.
Allison, we hear that your parents say you will be just like Mr. Molthan one day because of your love for building. If you could ask him anything, what would it be?
