karbach_love_Street_2After one year in Dallas, Karbach Brewing Company proves that we can get along with Houston just fine. Beer may just be the unifying component to encourage peace among all nations, cities, leaders and even planets. So with 365 days or so behind us, here are some great Karbach beers to fill your summer thirst in case you haven’t had a chance to try them yet.

First up is the Kolsch style Love Street. Hippie in nature, this crisp, refreshing Kolsch is light and easy with low bitterness, pleasant hop/malt balance and just enough carbonation. Love Street is best enjoyed in a stange. That’s a tall, cylindrical glass with no curvature. Knowledge.

karbach_staycationNext up is the sessionable wheat ale, Staycation. Low in alcohol much like the Love Street, the Staycation goes down with swift delight. This is the beer for the hop lover who wants something more mellow. Also best served outside the can in a weizen glass, Although Staycation is tough to fully enjoy through the narrow mouth of a can, it can be done.

And finally, when you’re ready to kick things up a notch, the Hopadillo is an American IPA that boasts pine, citrus, robust but balanced hops and a little more alcohol than the other two. It’s goes beautifully in a tulip snifter and the amber body will stun any onlookers. Karbach brings a fine lineup of varied brews with taste, accessibility and some pretty cool names. These three are also safe to serve to those in your posse who may not yet love craft beers. Bring all to the beer and we will find ourselves in happy world.
