What's in Christina Entsminger's Bag, Miss Dallas USA 2012

What's in Christina Entsminger's Bag, Miss Dallas USA 2012They’re poised, confident, and have really white teeth. The ladies of the pageant world are a bit of an enigma. How does one acquire those bronzed legs for days and perfectly coiffed hair that stays in place? Christina Entsminger, Miss Dallas USA 2012 (and Miss Fort Worth USA 2011), dropped by our offices last week ready to spill her purse and her beauty secrets. I already had the privilege of getting to know this beauty queen and college senior through the recent 10 Most Beautiful Women in Dallas contest, but taking a look in her bag was an extra treat.

"I'm a bargain shopper."

1. Sebastian Re-Shaper hairspray.”It’s a life saver. You can use it and still put your fingers through it.”
2. Too Faced Royal Oil coconut and bronzer oil. “I’m really fair, so it makes me look healthy and gives me a glow.” (Christina does not use tanning beds or bake in the outdoors.)
3. Beachbody ActiVit Multivitamins. “I like to take vitamins and minerals, and I swear these work. They give you extra energy.”
4. Miss Dallas sash. “I won this on April 22. It was my second try.” (It took every ounce of restraint not to ask her if I would walk around wearing it.)

5. Sunglasses. “I got them in Bishop Arts at a vintage store.”
6. Ralph Lauren Romance. “It’s fresh and it’s girly.”
7. Sony Cybershot digital camera. “It was my New Year’s resolution to start taking pictures and documenting things.”
8. Red Bull. “I drink one to two daily between school and work.” (Christina works as a member of the Red Bull Wings team.)
9. Beauty products from left: The Perfect Face lipgloss in Beehive (“You can put it on, go to bed, and it’ll still be there”), Make-Up By Sheila in Naked Bronze, Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment, and Too Faced Size Queen Mascara (“It plumps up my tiny little blonde eyelashes”)
10. Clutch. “It was a gift from my boyfriend. I’m a wristlet girl. It’s easy for being out and about.”
11. iPhone. “It has all my music on it. I don’t know what I’d do without it.”
