With 69,604 people currently waiting on a kidney donation, the Everson Walls & Ron Springs Gift For Life Foundation educates on the living donor process and aims to help save the lives of those with chronic kidney disease. After NFL player Springs successfully received a kidney from former NFL player Walls, the two partnered up for a purpose — the foundation gives all funds raised to beneficiaries and tests people for conditions that can lead to kidney failure. Pitch in for the Gift For Life Foundation at its special Super Bowl Week fundraiser on Feb. 3 at 7:30 pm at the Fashion Institute Gallery on Ross Avenue in Dallas.
