Valentine’s Day Treats Over $50: Flight in a WWII Plane

Kevin and ladyI know we’ve been blogging Valentine’s Day treats under $50 but this is such a cool I idea I just had to add it to the mix even though it doesn’t meet that criteria. How much would your man love you if you got him a flight in a two-seat World War II plane for Valentine’s Day? The Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison is offering rides on two different “Warbird” planes. Each experience lasts one hour with thirty minutes of flying time. The cost for one plane is $195 and the other is $275. Since I know nothing about WWII planes (and my guess is that you don’t either) I won’t list the differences in the aircrafts here but suffice it to say they’re both really cool and you can get all the details on the museum’s web site (click on “Warbird Rides”). All passengers must be over the age of 18 and because this is a non-profit organization you can feel good about your purchase because the money is going to a good cause. Up, up and away!
