It’s a traveling hair salon! From 11 am-7 pm on August 6, a team of stylists from the John Frieda salons in New York, Los Angeles, and the UK will be parked the John Frieda See for Yourself Salon at Firewheel Town Center in Garland. The “salon” is actually an 18-wheeler that transforms into a fully functioning salon modeled after the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon in downtown NYC, with brick walls, wooden floors, five styling chairs, two washing stations, plasma TV screens, and reception and waiting areas. No lie. The See for Yourself Salon arrives in Dallas after a national tour through Boston, Chicago, DC, NYC, Miami, Atlanta, Ann Arbor, and Seattle. Walk-ins are welcome, or book an “appointment” for a 30-minute wash/dry/style.
