Each Friday through December 11, 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., enjoy FridayFest, a great lineup of local musicians, balloon artists, caricaturists & other entertainers at five outdoor locations throughout Downtown.

In addition, don’t miss FridayFest’s two feature performances each month, including Broadway song and dance by The Entertainers at Pegasus Plaza, October 9 and the torch songs and tangos of Trio Brio at Chase Tower, October 23.

It’s all right here, and you’re invited to Come on Down!town.

NEW HOTEL MAKES ITS NARK IN DOWNTOWN DALLAS ON OCTOBER 15TH

Texas is still known for its wide open spaces. And with the eagerly anticipated renovation and expansion of the new Adam’s Mark Hotel (formerly the Southland Center), guests will marvel at the monumental space within what is to become the biggest hotel in the state and one of the largest in the country.

Picture this: the property, located in the Arts District and on the DART Light Rail, will be a combination of three towers with a skyway that will conveniently access a new three-floor conference center. The towers will feature 1,844 guest rooms, including 200-plus suites; 70 meeting rooms; 11 boardrooms; a full-service health club; 5 restaurants (with a return of the Chaparral Club for fine dining and dancing on the 38th floor); a nightclub (Silhouettes), and an array of retail shops.

A GARDEN PARTY

Join Neiman Marcus for Outside/In during Happenchance. This autumnal event celebrating the good life is blooming October 9-31 at NM Dallas Downtown.

You’ll discover a world of whimsical greenery, including an enchanted butterfly tree house and a gazebo full of beautiful tropical blossoms. Serene, Zen-like surroundings also await you – complete with miniature Thai temples and floating lilies. If you believe the grass is always greener, see for yourself at an exhibit of some of the most unusual and challenging holes from golf courses around the world. And visit a series of beds draped with blossoms to guarantee you’ll have sweet dreams.
