Taxis and private shuttles are available to and from D/FW International Airport and Love Field. Dallas Area Rapid Transit {DART) buses also run between downtown and Love Field.
For the most part, other DART routes go to and from downtown and around downtown; fare is $1 for local service, $2 for premium service. Light-rail lines also run from downtown Dallas north to Park Lane and to South and West Oak Cliff. Call 214-979-1111 for information.
If you are driving, construction on U.S. Highway 75 (North Central Expressway) is ongoing, seemingly forever, south of Walnut Hill Lane. For lane closing and construction information on area roads, call 214-3744100.
Bus service in Fort Worth is operated by The T. Buses around downtown are free, and the fare on other routes around the city is 80 cents. Call 817-871-6200 for schedules and information.

Concierge Tip of the Month
Susan Weller, concierge at downtown’s Le Meridien Dallas Hotel, invites you to “think spring” and enjoy a relaxing meal in 650 North, the hotel’s signature restaurant. New American cuisine is its specialty. If you prefer alfresco dining, try the Seventeen Seventeen restaurant just down the street at the Dallas Museum of Art. Afterward, browse the numerous and varied treasures inside; the DMA is open until 9 p.m. on Thursday nights.
