The Design Council for the Symphony Showhouse plays an important role in the overall concept and color palette choice for the Showhouse. They assist in the Designer Open House Reception. The members work to achieve harmony from room to room with each of the designers’ concepts in mind. Working closely with Lisa Gilchrist (the Murchisons’ designer) and Murchison Development, Inc., the Design Council coordinated the general philosophy of the house.
