Thumbs down to Dallas school trustee Robert Medrano for his pitiful excuse for refusing to submit to a blood alcohol test and breathalyzer after he was arrested on a DWI charge in November. Medrano told police he wouldn’t take the blood test because he feared he might contract AIDS. He maintains he was not drunk at the time of his arrest. “Because of the AIDS thing, I didn’t want them to pierce me,” Medrano said. “It didn’t look loo sanitary to me.”
