The daisy chains and flower garlands that we made as children were woven of the wildflowers that bloom so bountifully every spring and summer in Texas. We’re still struck by their vibrant, untamed beauty, even as our taste in adornment changes. It’s hard to pick among Mother Nature’s jewels-the bluebonnets, Indian blankets, daisies, thistle, elderberry and all the when the flowers have faded, these three necklaces still shine.
