THUMB AWARD THE CITY COUNCIL HAS ITS PRIORITIES IN ORDER

Thumbs Up to the Dallas City Council for agreeing to put crime control at the top of its list of priorities for action during the next two years. Councilman Rolan Tucker, one of the council members behind the move, has asked the city staff to look at a neighborhood crime control program that has worked in San Diego. The answers may not come that easily, but at least the council has taken a step toward dealing with what has become the city’s most pressing problem.
