What do the Great Court at the British Museum, Dresden Station in Germany, and Dallas’ new Winspear Opera House (pictured) have in common? Renowned architect Norman Foster and his firm Foster + Partners designed them all, among other notable structures across the globe. So it makes sense that the Nasher Sculpture Center would want to celebrate the man and his work. Featuring architectural models, renderings, photographs, and videos—and scheduled to coincide with the Winspear’s grand opening—this exhibition spans four decades of Foster’s contributions to the world of architecture. Sep 26-Jan 10, 2010. Tue-Wed & Fri-Sun, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thu, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. The Nasher Sculpture Center.
