“The store is an accumulation of my favorite things,” Stacy Hyde says, pointing to Annieglass, which she has collected for years, “and things I want,” she adds, fingering unimaginably soft quilted silk throws by Kumi Kookoon in lavender and white. Hyde is no stranger to stylish furnishings—she worked for Knoll International for five years—but now as a store owner, she gets to show off her great personal taste. The light-filled space pops with cheerful pieces such as French table linens and pillows covered in 1960s Fortuny pillows on custom-upholstered sofas. Argentinean leather trays in lime and turquoise act as a foil to reclaimed Belgian wood tables, and decorative ceramics, handcrafted dinnerware, and glassware make a stunning display in the front window.
