Koffee Day Spa

The next time you want to get the girls together, your first call should be to Tyran Morrison of Koffee Day Spa. Morrison knows what girls want: the chance and space to swap a few tales, share a few laughs, and lose a few cares. She offers more than 10 party menus for groups from four to 20-plus, but will gladly work with you to design the event that works for your crowd. During our very own recent spa party, we started out with a limo ride to the spa, where we were greeted with wine and a buffet of Mexican-themed nibbles. Next on the menu was salsa lessons, which were a great way to get us all riled up, but then back-to-back mini facials, avocado foot treatments, and back massages mellowed us back out for the return limo ride. A straw poll of the evening’s highlights returned the house-made scrubs and shea butters, the dessert, and the dance instructor (Hi, Jeremy!). But the hands-down winner: “I loved hearing you guys laugh and have fun while I was getting a treatment.” 1700 Wood St. 214-670-9696. www.koffeedayspa.com.
