This week on EarBurner, Dallas Morning News reporter and UT-Dallas professor Dr. Seema Yasmin returns to the Old Monk to explain just how worried we should (or should not) be about the emergence of the Zika virus in Dallas. Plus, Tim and Zac talk about the city’s recent decision to ban the Exxxotica porn convention and the announcement of the cast of Real Housewives of Dallas.

It’s Yasmin’s second time at Table No. 1. You may remember the show from last May when there was an overabundance of talk about rejuvenating vaginas.

Before you get to listening to the new episode, a few notes:

1. Zac has published lists of dog names better than “Story” on FrontBurner eight times.

2. Ray Hunt’s wife Nancy Ann Hunt is chairwoman of the anti-sex-trafficking organization New Friends New Life.

3. It was City Councilman Mark Clayton, not a commenter on FrontBurner, who suggested that instead of the city of Dallas taking an action that will likely lead to a lawsuit, the council should take the money it would have to spend on lawyers defending that action and make donations to organizations that aid victims of sex trafficking and domestic violence (like New Friends New Life).

4. The name of Courtney Kerr’s second short-lived Bravo TV series, for which Tim recapped all eight episodes (and one fake episode), was Courtney Loves Dallas.

5. Episodes of the Real Housewives franchises are typically one hour in length.

6. Yasmin’s husband, Emmanuel, spoke to NBC 5 about the loss of their house in the deadly Dec. 26 tornado that ripped through areas near Lake Ray Hubbard:

7. Most sources trace the origin of the phrase “purple monkey dishwasher” to an episode of The Simpsons.

8. Jupiter doesn’t have a moon called “Titus.” Saturn has a moon called “Titan.”
