On Wednesday, April 21, D Home hosted its first in-person event of the year which (safely) honored the 2021 Best Designers in Dallas. Held at DEC on Dragon in the designer’s home turf of the Design District, the rooftop gathering was well-received by awardees, as many hadn’t seen one another in more than a year. Their industry has thankfully had a very strong year as families reassessed and reinvested in their homes during the pandemic, and D Home’s president and publisher Gillea Allison made a toast to the success and resiliency of the design community during her remarks. We thank Blue Fire Catering for the delicious food and drink; Twelve Thirty Four for the stunning floral design; MotusRed for the always-fun 3D photobooth and DEC on Dragon for hosting. Thank you also to California Closets for their premier sponsorship and Feizy Rugs for being a showroom sponsor. Congratulations to all the 2021 honorees.
