Throw a Dallas Chic-o de Mayo Cocktail Hour

Cinco de Mayo has long been one of my favorite holidays because it never lets me down. Each year, I plan to honor Mexico’s 1862 victory at the Battle of Puebla with a margarita (since turning 21, of course), and each year I succeed.

But how about this year, instead of simply drinking, we take things up one Martha Stewart-sized notch? How about we throw in a few festive cocktail napkins, or jazz things up with some elegant barware? What if we culled a cocktail hour so chic (Chic-o de Mayo, if you will), we just had to invite people over to celebrate with us.

Are you with me? Okay, then here’s how we’ll do it.
