As one half of a rare happily married couple produced by ABC’s The Bachelor, newly minted Dallasite Catherine Lowe was careful when planning her first entrepreneurial endeavor. Inspiration came from her habit of writing sweet but somewhat silly notes to future husband Sean during their reality TV tenure. “I gave him five or six notes during The Bachelor,” Catherine says. “They showed my personality but also had a touch of admiration and love. I didn’t want to just be lovey, because that’s not who I am. I wanted to be comfortable and real.” The result is the newly launched LoweCo., a high quality stationery line that’s entirely sourced in Dallas.

The simple white embossed cards make an elegant addition to any gift, but it’s the playful messages that make the former Amazon graphic designer’s new venture stand out. “I wanted to marry my love of creating fun captions with my design aesthetic,” Catherine says. For a little insight, we reached out to the LoweCo. creator to discover the real life inspiration behind some of our favorite expressions.

*While all the cards will be available online soon, you can shop the stationery now at local boutiques, including Lion & Witch, Milk + Honey, and Swoozies.
