Book Club: Saturday Night Live, The Book

I really want this.

I am so excited about Taschen’s Saturday Night Live, The Book. If it’s not raining tomorrow, you will likely see me walking the streets of downtown on my way to the Joule to buy it. Will I be dancing? I don’t know. Will I be singing? Probably. Like pretty much everyone in the world, I am a super fan of all things Saturday Night Live. My sister and I are the Sweeney Sisters. I could read Live From New York: The Complete, Uncensored History of Saturday Night Live as Told by Its Stars, Writers, and Guests over and over and over again. I continue to hold out hope for the show even when it disappoints because wonderful things like this happen. So it’s no surprise that I have to own this coffee table tome filled with more than 2,300 images. That’s a lot of pictures, guys. And it’s only $50. You should get one, too. This is a coffee table book that all of your guests will actually want to look through, which I guess is kind of a bummer if you don’t like people touching your things. Maybe just stop having people over.
