Hi Audrey!!!

We’ve got another fresh face on the blog to introduce you to — our awesome new intern, Audrey. She hails from sunny and saucy Las Vegas, and is now a senior at TCU. Her series, Freshen Up Fridays, will be hitting the blogosphere tomorrow. For now, we want you to get to know her, so we asked all the hard-hitting questions that you’re dying to know. Check out the answers below.

What’s your favorite room in your house? My own room is definitely my favorite. It triples as an office and hangout where I can read and watch Netflix and, of course, a sleeping place. As someone who shares an apartment with three more girls (whom I adore… but come on, it’s three girls in very close quarters), my room is the only place that is totally mine.

Tell us a random fact about you. I’m certified to teach yoga, but I got the certification about six years ago and haven’t done much with it.

What’s your favorite color? Turquoise. I like it because it’s simultaneously vibrant and calming.

Do you have a favorite interior design trend? I love the look of fresh flowers, anywhere: on your desk, kitchen counter, coffee table, you name it. Floral designs have always appealed to my senses — they just add lightness, freshness, and sometimes a color pop to the room — and I say the simpler the better.

What’s your favorite thing about Dallas? Since I live in Fort Worth, my main experiences with Dallas include going to Uptown for friends’ birthdays, which is always a blast! I love the young atmosphere there; it’s always busy and bustling, but I never feel overwhelmed by the chaos. I also like the culture of Dallas. It has so much to offer, from art to music to food, and I feel like there is always something new to try.
