A Trifecta of Art Goodness: Mallory Page Paintings, Museum Store Sales, and A Trip to Marfa

I’m feeling something artful in the air this week, starting with a viewing of new works by New Orleans artist Mallory Page on Thursday from 1-4 at Blue Print. Mallory will be on hand to chat about her paintings, so you can pick her brain a bit while you partake in some snacks and bubbly.

Then on Friday, the Nasher Sculpture Center kicks off their  summer “member sale”, where art enthusiasts boasting that little green card receive 25% off the entire store. The sale runs through the 19th, so if you’ve been holding out on that Nasher membership, now is the time to get one.

I’d be making a rapid beeline to both events, but alas, I’m headed to Marfa for a little family, wait for it…art pilgrimage. We’ll be ogling the Flavins and Judds while taking a leave from the inferno that is Dallas in the cool (relatively speaking) West Texas desert.

See, all sorts of arty goodness, yes?
