Evan Lewis started his furniture studio as an adjunct in his sculpture studio and was quickly discovered by design divas in Chicago like Richard Himmel and Holly Hunt. I’ve always been a big sucker for “functional art”—specifically tables that work hard in the room holding drinks and books and such but also inspire and captivate you like a fine piece of art. Right now, I’m writing about a collector of Mexican sculpture, so I was particularly taken with this sculptural table in steel with a bronze patina.
