Texas Oncology Consolidates Its Fort Worth Presence With A New, 100,000 SF Facility

|

Texas Oncology has opened a new facility in Fort Worth’s medical district. The new place is a consolidation of three other Texas Oncology locations within the city and brings medical, gynecologic, and radiation oncology services under one roof, the organization says.

A bit more:

Texas Oncology occupies three of the four floors of the new 100,000 square foot building at 500 South Henderson Street, developed by Cambridge Holdings, Inc. The project includes an adjacent parking garage with free parking for patients and caregivers. With construction of the larger center concluded this summer, Texas Oncology followed through on plans to consolidate three separate facilities. The open concept design of the new center expands physician exam and treatment room capacity by more than 50 percent. The center also includes expanded radiation and infusion treatment areas, a covered pull-through drive for easy patient access and valet parking services, and a beautiful outdoor courtyard.

The three facilities that are closing are at 1300 W. Terrell Ave., 1450 8th Ave., and 1001 12th Ave. Another location at 6500 Harris Parkway will remain open.

Texas Oncology’s downtown Fort Worth practice includes a team of 13 doctors, eight advanced practice providers, and more than 100 clinical and support staffers.
