Announcing: A D CEO Healthcare Breakfast Panel on How North Texas Is Competing to Stay on the Cutting Edge of Cancer Care

With investment in cancer research continuing to expand the types of treatment available to cancer patients, it’s as important—and as challenging—as ever for providers in North Texas and beyond to stay on the cutting edge. We’re introducing a D CEO Healthcare Breakfast Panel that will explore how this region is competing to do just that, featuring some of the biggest names in cancer care across Dallas-Fort Worth.

We’ll run through some specific research and treatments pumping new life into cancer care here, and we’ll discuss the overall approach that providers are taking. With cancer care in constant evolution, how do you decide which areas to push into full throttle, and where you should take a wait-and-see approach? What does the future hold? Join us for a panel discussion featuring:

Dr. Steven Paulson, President, Texas Oncology
Dr. Carlos Arteaga, Director, Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern
Melissa Threlkeld, Regional VP of Oncology Services, Medical City Healthcare
Dr. Ted Laetsch, Director of Experimental Therapeutics Program, Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Health

This event will happen the morning of Thursday, Oct. 18. We’ll start your day off with some breakfast, with registration set to open at around 7 a.m. and the panel kicking off at about 7:45 a.m. We’re finalizing a location , so check back for an announcement on that very soon (Update: This will be at our offices downtown—750 N. St. Paul St., #2100, Dallas, TX 75201). Learn more and grab tickets over at the Eventbrite page, and don’t wait!—because these events tend to sell out. We’ll see you Oct. 18.
