Leapfrog’s Spring Safety Grades Include 18 North Texas ‘A’s

The Leapfrog Group updated its safety grades yesterday, and 18 hospitals in North Texas received an ‘A’ rating. That’s of the 52 hospitals graded in the region. Of the remaining, 21 received ‘B’ grades and 13 got a ‘C’. About 2,500 hospitals across the country received a grade.

Leapfrog, a Washington D.C.-based nonprofit, analyzes 27 publicly available hospital safety measures to assign grades twice a year. If you’re curious about hospitals outside of North Texas or want to go back further in time, the organization has a search tool on its website. Below, the grades for every hospital in the region this go around, with fall grades in parentheses:
