Richardson-based STAT Courier Service, a specialized medical delivery service provider, will be expanding its Texas market to San Antonio.
According to STAT, it plans to enter the San Antonio medical services market for “better and more effective coverage of their clients’ demands.” It is currently looking at real estate in the San Antonio area to accommodate its expansion needs. The company noted in a statement that it will also look into finding a larger corporate office in Dallas within the next year.
STAT plans to hire 50 drivers and five staff members for the new San Antonio location. In addition to the new location, STAT is employing 20 new positions in its Houston office, 20 in Dallas, and 10 in Austin over the next 12 months.
