Consumer Groups Protest Delay on ACA Provision

|

Consumer groups are asking the Obama administration to reconsider its decision to delay enforcement a provision of the Affordable Care Act that allows insurers and employers to offer health plans in 2014 that include out-of-pocket caps for individuals of $12,500 or more.

That is double the amount allowed under the federal health law. Ten consumer groups sent a protest letter to administration officials to express their concerns.
