Baylor Breaks Ground on Waxahachie Hospital

Baylor Health Care System broke ground Tuesday on a new 299,000 square-foot facility in Waxahachie.

The new hospital, which will located on 52 acres at the intersection of I35E and Highway 287, is expected to open in fall 2014. The $175 million facility will include 129 beds in a six-story tower. The Waxahachie hospital recently was rated the safest in North Texas by a Consumer Reports scorecard
