What’s your usual breakfast?

I usually eat three Weet-Bix (an Australian breakfast staple) with almond flakes, chia seeds, blueberries, strawberries and almond milk, and coffee with almond milk. (No sugar or sweeteners ever!)

What’s your typical daily workout routine?

8-9 a.m.: Gym time! I focus on my core, working with body weights, bands, and stretching. After the gym, I stop for a snack. It’s usually an apple, banana, or nuts.

9:30 a.m.: Pre-training shooting/skills

10 a.m. to noon: On-court team training

Noon: Stretching and snack time. I usually have a non-dairy protein bar or almond milk.

12:15 p.m.: Ice bath/ recovery time

12:30 p.m.: Treatment with our team trainer

After that, I have lunch and then get some sleep.

What is your go-to cheat meal, and where do you get it?

Pad Thai with tofu at Silk Road Thai Cuisine in McKinney

Name a song from your workout playlist.

“Best of You” by Foo Fighters

Where’s your favorite place to workout in Dallas?

Lifetime Fitness in Allen

How do you define being healthy and fit?

To me, being healthy and fit is a lifestyle choice. It is not all about how you look. It’s more about how you feel. Being healthy is a combination of attitude, diet, exercise, and sleep. Since I gave up meat, dairy products, and a lot of processed sugars, my energy levels have increased significantly because my body doesn’t waste energy burning these types of food, and it allows me to sleep much better at night. We live in a very meat- and sugar-saturated world, where we are encouraged by the food industry to eat these types of foods, making us feel even more hungrier, stressed, and tired.
