Jim Lehrer, R.I.P.

He was 85.

The legendary newsman began his career in 1959 at the Dallas Morning News. He also worked at the Times-Herald. His first TV job was with KERA, and he co-founded PBS NewsHour, which produced the video remembrance of him below. Lehrer died in his sleep today at the age of 85.
