Another Way to Help Harvey Evacuees: Uniforms and School Supplies For Displaced Students

|

As part of the thousands of people coming up from Houston and the Gulf, there are obviously going to be some kids, and those kids will need to go to school. My son goes to middle school at Spence, over near CityPlace, and since it’s close to downtown (where the mega shelter is) and more or less centrally located, they are taking in the bulk of the junior high kids. Something like 200, maybe — probably — more.

And so all of those kids — beyond the basics they need for everyday life — also need supplies and uniforms. Here is information about where you can donate, now through September 8.
