Son Suspected in Father’s Murder In Plano. As of this writing, police were looking for 28-year-old Kenneth Alleman Midgley II. Details of his father’s death or why Alleman is a suspect have not been released.

Plano’s Community Unitarian Universal Church Has Its Rainbow Flag Stolen. The church has been flying the flag since last fall, in solidarity with the LGBTQ community. It was taken overnight Saturday and replaced with an American flag. The perpetrator left a note: “I didn’t agree with your flag. So I took it down. If you don’t agree with this one, you can take it down. PS: There are only 2 (two) genders.” Betsy Friauf, one of the members, has a good outlook on it: “This person left us a gift, a brand new American flag, so at this point what we’re planning to do is keep this nice gift, and also put up a rainbow flag.”

“Naked Woman Slugs Highland Park Officer Who Tried to Remove Her From Oak Lawn Street.” Now, there is a headline.

Last Call at the Elbow Room. Regulars packed the bar on Saturday night, its last in action. It’s being torn down soon to make way for Texas A&M’s new dental school. The topless Mona Lisa is moving to Mac’s Southside, if that’s something that interests you.

I Got Into the Morrissey Show Just Fine. Though the reviewer here did not. The infamously unreliable singer did start playing at 8:30 on Saturday, but the doors were open at 7:30 when I got there, and it said 7 on the ticket, so I don’t know. Plan better, Kelly Dearmore.

FC Dallas Win Snatched Away Pretty Much Literally at the Last Second. After Kellyn Acosta banged in a goal midway through the second half on Friday night, it looked like FCD was coming home from San Jose with all three points. And then Jahmir Hyka managed to level it as the fourth and final minute of extra time came to a close. Might have been irrelevant if Cristian Colman had gotten the ball instead of the post earlier on. Oh, well. They remain undefeated on the season.
