This movie comes with a bonus: a glimpse at young Robert Downey, Jr.

Most people know this about me, but I have a pretty tenacious grip on my admiration for Hanson.

As former teen sensations are want to do, the three brothers are all grown up. And all things being equal, they put on a pretty great live show. They know what the audience wants to hear, but they’re got quite a collection of music that doesn’t have anything to do with “MMMBop.” Anyway, Hanson is at the House of Blues tonight to satisfy all your nostalgic needs. Nearby Stampede 66 has a great happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.—$2 tacos and $4 wells at the bar.

Meanwhile, the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson devotes a screen to Rodney Dangerfield’s Back to School this evening. Considering that my entire Twitter feed is filled with terrible news right now, I think we could all use the laugh.
