Not sure why, but SB Nation decided today was as good a day as any to take a deep dive into the 1994 high school football playoff game between Plano East and John Tyler. ESPN once called the game among the most memorable in Texas Stadium’s history.
The co-working FrontBurnervian who passed this link along tells me the footage may have been one of the first truly viral videos on the web. I’d never watched it until today. The announcers are amazing, the comeback is epic, and the finish is a heartbreaker.
