Mercy Project The Mercy Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing children around the world who are in slavery. We are deeply committed to speaking on behalf of these children who have no voice. Our current project is in Ghana, West Africa with the Touch A Life Foundation. On Lake Volta in Ghana, children as young as five years old have been sold for as little as $20 and work nearly 100 hours a week. These children have no future, they do not smile or laugh, their childhoods have been stolen. We are building houses so that more children can be rescued and have a safe place to live. We are building houses where hope can live. www.mercyproject.net
