The Coalition of American Traditions and Ethics announced yesterday that it will launch a campaign to install a Western Civilization curriculum choice for students in Texas universities. We’ve already recounted the battle at UT Austin, which led to a squishy kind of academic compromise (which in academia means “not in our lifetimes”). Here’s CATE’s website and a petition.
