This one from KHOU in Houston:

“State senator involved in controversy over condos in danger of collapse”

Sounds juicy, eh? The state senator is John Carona of Dallas. He owns a property management company. At my condo, the management company is responsible for watering the plants and changing the outdoor light bulbs. The condo board is in charge of capital improvements and assessing the residents to pay for them. If the residents are now complaining, maybe they ought to re-read the minutes of their own board meetings, where the decision was made to save money by not fixing what needed fixing. But no! It’s time to play the blame game — and call your local TV reporter.
