Regent Out On His Ducas

|

A FBvian alerts us to news that hit after-hours Friday, presumably so its play on this blog and others would be diminished. (It mostly worked; the Morning News has yet to write about it.) Regent Ducas, the CBS 11 news director who wrote that infamous memo saying it’s better to feel the news than report it, which we didn’t much like, has left the station to “pursue other interests.” (Hopefully at a station that doesn’t tank in the ratings as Ducas takes the helm.) Scott Diener is Ducas’ replacement. He’s been here since June 2006. Our wish is the same as Fingers of Fury’s: that Diener starts asking for, you know, real news of his anchors and reporters.
