Sweet Belmont Deal Has an Asterisk

|

This might be too good to be true. A very nice sister tells us about the deal at the Belmont:

I just have to get my two-cents in. They ran the same special in August. When I saw it, I thought, “Great! I LOVE the Belmont…hang out at the bar all the time. My brother’s visiting me, so I’ll get him a room there for a couple of nights at a great deal as a gift!” Uh, no. What they DON’T tell you is that at the bottom of their promo email, where it says something like “subject to availability” … they really mean it. They had most of the weekends blacked out so you couldn’t use the special except for during the week. So I was stuck with the regular price of $139, which is still inexpensive, but it’s the principle.
