Stonewall Jackson Dad Tackles DWI-er

|

A crime-fighting FBvian passes along a harrowing tale from yesterday:

Yesterday a drunk guy slammed his SUV into a tree directly behind Stonewall Jackson Elementary, just as school was letting out (he must have been going at least 50 mph, based on the damage). I was walking my son home from school, and we heard it and ran over there. The guy took off running, and two other guys and I caught him a block over from the school. We held him down for about 30 minutes, waiting for the cops. He definitely hit someone on Central. A guy who saw it was following this guy when he hit the tree. The guy who saw it said he did not think it was possible for the motorcyclist to have lived.

I have not heard anything on this on the news on TV or in the paper. Do you or any know if the guy on the motorcycle was killed? It is truly amazing a child was not killed yesterday.
