Close watchers of TV HBO last night no doubt recognized That Guy, aka Stephen Tobolowsky. On John From Cincinnati, he played a lawyer from the hospital where Shaun miraculously healed, and on scenes from next week’s Entourage, he plays a schlub of a movie producer. You may remember reading a certain profile of the Dallas actor in the print version of FrontBurner. And even though you didn’t ask, I’ll tell you: John is growing on me, mostly because I give David Milch a whole bucket of trust as a viewer that there’s brilliance there I don’t yet understand. And Entourage is a bad, bad show that I somehow find myself watching.
